Her hand turned black as the symptom slowly spread through her body. In deep desperation, she found a man promising a cure. Lead by fear she accepted his offer and became part of a cult. The cult followes strict rules and was lead by a portlet, promised to spread the message of a god and surprisingly it helped. Her disease stopped spreading and following the cults rule tightly and strictly. A few years after another god promised a cure and the cult slowly disbanded, more and more people returning to their freedom. The few followers whose loyalty ran high was given a gift by the old god. They were given the power of being a vampire and lead the cult on and growth it back to its original. Over time spreading the word became difficult. Vampires were killed on stakes and new modern weapons made its way into the world. The vampires had to mask themselves, the masquerade. Each vampire given its own task, Honk started working for easy blood at a vampire maid cafe. Serving at night and at dawn eating her heart away.
